Summary:

An interphase is a canon construction, and refers to "a phenomenon in which the fabric of space begins to break up, allowing an overlap of parallel universes on different dimensional planes. The rift itself also contained a completely empty realm, devoid of life, between the dimensional planes". Starting with Temper, I have a "pulse shot", which is used for time travel and, if composed of dark matter, it is used in order to pass a person or a time ship to the Mirror Universe. Therefore, I got to thinking - how was the pulse shot first invented? And so I decided to marry it to some real technology and to canon at the same time. The original pulse shot would be a mistake, a casualty of the end of the Third World War. Hence the origin of what became the pulse shot is actually the destruction of the Large Hadron Super collider at CERN, in 2053. The bombing releases the vestiges of the hunt for the Higgs boson and causes small ripples through time. If a person or a shuttle or the like is hit with one such altered particle, incoherent and unexpected time travel is possible. However, there is no control over the travel, or how to get back. The subjects (I hesitate to call them victims) solve their temporal displacement issues in various ways, as the changes are manifested in many different ways, and often seem to call existence into question.

Summary: For those interested in the Janeway/Chakotay relationship, certain moments in the series lent themselves to fanfiction or begged completion or expansion. These are a collection of my J/C Moments which are nowhere near completion. I am continuing to write them as I review the episodes of Star Trek Voyager. I think they qualify as a series.

Summary: Q's side lost the war in the Continuum, and the other side imprisoned all the humanity in the galaxy in the Solar System. Humans seek to cope with massive overcrowding and the loss of the stars, the Federation reels from the loss of humanity, various species contend with one another to exploit the situation, and a small number of humans, plus the last two surviving renegade Q, have plans of their own for saving humanity or getting revenge on the Continuum. Touches all Star Trek series but primarily the 24th century set (TNG, DS9, VOY.) Various stories focus on different characters from different Trek series.

Summary:

The USS Kestrel, an ageing Miranda class, serving as part of the Border Service has the thankless task of patrolling some of the murkier corners of the Federation.                                                        As the seat of Federation power in a dangerous and wild region of space, the Kestrel acts to paraphrase her firebrand captain, Captain Gregory McGregor, 'as the rule and the law, the line in the sand, the first and last line of defence for the Federation'. They can't call in the cavalry because they are the cavalry. They stand the line, they duke it out, they shout them down; they are the Border Patrol Service, otherwise known as the Border Dogs.                                                                                                       A ramshackle, rough and ready crew, led by the acerbic, sarcastic, bombastic, over the top, pain-in-the-ass, coarse and unprofessional Captain Gregory McGregor. Just the type of behaviour to get stuff on the border done! There's no time for Jean-Luc's niceties here!
The Border Dogs might be seen as the ‘poor cousins' of the Fleet and the Miranda might be seen as the ‘Ford pick-up of Starfleet' but the Kestrel in the humble opinion of her Captain shows the Fleeters how to do things the proper way.

Summary:

Space! That one frontier and stuff. This will consolidate my late 24th century comedy series for the U.S.S. Phoenix-X where Seifer is in command at rank Commander. This starts from Episode 89 where, before this, episodes were written in Chatfic format, and then moves to monthly contest entries from the Trek BBS.

The Phoenix-series of ships were transwarp-testing vessels destroyed one after the other in a short period of time and the U.S.S. Phoenix-X was the twenty-fifth of those: A ship and a perpetually rank-frozen crew (far from legendary). These are silly, universe-breaking, sometimes-commentaries with a lot of hyphens. Enjoy!

These are the stories of the rank and file of the starship Eagle, the redshirts, the ensigns, the crewmen, the inexperienced, the ones who usually don't get to share the limelight with the illustrious senior staff.

Life on the lower decks can be rough. From stringent commanding officers, to dangerous aliens, short life expectancies and complicated relationships. For these young men and women working hard isn't always enough.

Summary: A Remix differs from a simple crossover in that the structure and plot of an existing Star Trek episode is fused with elements of another show or genre. Inversely, an existing well-known episode of another show or movie series can be adapted into the ST universe, or the ST episode can be adapted as an episode of another series.
