Summary: Q's side lost the war in the Continuum, and the other side imprisoned all the humanity in the galaxy in the Solar System. Humans seek to cope with massive overcrowding and the loss of the stars, the Federation reels from the loss of humanity, various species contend with one another to exploit the situation, and a small number of humans, plus the last two surviving renegade Q, have plans of their own for saving humanity or getting revenge on the Continuum. Touches all Star Trek series but primarily the 24th century set (TNG, DS9, VOY.) Various stories focus on different characters from different Trek series.
