1.) By using this site you acknowledge that you will not use it to: Defame, spam, flame, harass, stalk or otherwise act in a manner inappropriate to any other user on this site.2.) While the administrators of Ad Astra will do their very best to make sure it's always functioning and here, bad things do happen. Ultimately, you are responsible for backing up your own stories and reviews.
3.) By using this site, you acknowledge that you're here in good faith and will not use it for any illegal purpose.
4.) By using this site, you acknowledge that your user ID and stories can be deleted at any time. Just behave and that shouldn't be a problem.
5.) While the canon characters belong to CBS Corporation or Paramount, as well as the universe many of these stories take place in, the actual stories on this site belong to their respective authors along with any original characters, ships, aliens, technology or concepts. Do not copy them, take them anywhere else, repost them or anything of the sort without permission from the authors.
6.) Likewise, the custom covers and images on this site belong to those who created them. Do not take them, repost them or otherwise without permission.
7.) All stories and meta should be uploaded into the appropriate category. Uploading it into the wrong category or spamming categories will lead to the uploader being warned.
8.) This should not need to be said, but don't upload things that aren't stories and/or essays. Obviously.
9.) Ad Astra strongly encourages interactivity in the form of both writing, and in reading and reviewing. Chances are, if you come to this site expecting to just reap the rewards without giving back in any manner, you're not going to get much back. This community will only remain vibrant if its members remember that it truly is a community and it is the best for everyone involved if we support each other in our creative endeavors.
