ATTN TrekLit & DS9-R fans! Want to know what happened between The Soul Key and Rough Beasts of Empire? Then read Deep Space Nine Season 10!
This is my first Fan Fic project, and it's a pretty massive one, so I hope you'll indulge me, and I hope you enjoy!
As a bit of entertainment for myself, I have previously made a project out of adapting all the existing DS9 relaunch novels into screenplays, as if they were seasons 8 and 9 of the show. 26 episodes from Avatar to Unity (season 8), and 24 episodes from Unjoined to The Soul Key (season 9).
Now that the DS9-R seems to have fizzled out and people are wanting to know what happened between The Soul Key and Rough Beasts of Empire, I decided to come up with my own stories to fill the gap. Another whole 22 episodes, hence "season 10."
The stories are written in screenplay form, as if they really were TV show scripts, each episode approx 60 pages. So it's a big investment, both by me as a writer and by you as a reader. As well as posting the original text onto the board, I've formatted each episode as a PDF to download and store if you want.
During these 22 episodes, I plan on answering many of the questions TrekLit readers in general, and DS9-R readers in particular, have had ever since The Soul Key. Answers to what happened with the Dominion, the Ascendants, Dax's transfer, and lots more. Timeline-wise, episode one picks up right after the last page of The Soul Key, and by season end, we will be up to the beginning of TNG's A Time to... series.

Hi all
Following on from my DS9 Season 10 fan-fiction project of a couple of years ago, I am finally ready to present DS9 Season 11.
When I wrote season 10, it was intended to be the be-all-and-end-all. I had no intentions of writing anything else. But inevitably I found myself asking once again, “What happened next?” With later novels returning to the DS9 milieu and dropping more tantalising hints about what had happened in the meantime, I had plenty of story threads to tease out and explore.
This is another 22 episodes following directly on from what happened in season 10, and filling in even more of the missing time from the DS9 stories. To help you to place it in the Star Trek universe, this season takes place simultaneously with TNG’s A Time to… series, and in the year before the events of the Destiny trilogy.
In fact it appears that the official DS9 novels may be returning to the Ascendant storyline themselves in the near future, and rather mercenarily, I wanted to make sure my own stories were out there first.
I intend to upload the new stories at a rate of one per week. If you want my advice, I would suggest that you re-read the last three episodes (“In the Stars”, “Into the Fire” and “Ascension”), which form a season-ending three-parter, as I will be following up pretty closely on events from all three. Or if you’re pressed for time, just the season finale will do.
Thanks in advance for your patronage!

Welcome to my ‘DS9 Season 12’ project, aka “What were the DS9 crew up to during the Borg Invasion?”
These 22 (actually 25) episodes follow on directly from my DS9 Seasons 10 and 11 projects, which were intended to fill in the gaps in the DS9 storyline, before the professionals at Pocket Books went back and did their own version. Like the previous seasons, this set is written in screenplay format, as if they were 22 episodes of the TV series.
Unlike 10 and 11 however, the Destiny storyline is too big for one series - I plotted out 22 episodes each for all of the four series involved - Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Titan and Voyager. I did not write 88 scripts though - just the 22 DS9 ones. That is, until it comes to the big season finale, at which point it is no longer possible to separate the four series into their own threads so I just wrote a big four-parter featuring all four series equally. Hence why it’s really 25 eps, not 22.
Also unlike Seasons 10 and 11, 12 is based much more closely on the existing books. I do not claim any rights to the original material - that belongs to the authors and editors of the books in question, whose names all are listed below. My stories are adaptations and reinterpretations of those books, with my own ideas woven in and around and through. The list of books which I used in this project (whether adapted, reinterpreted or just was inspired by) are:
The Next Generation
Death in Winter, by Michael Jan Friedman
Resistance, by JM Dillard
Q&A, by Keith RA DeCandido
Before Dishonour, by Peter David
Greater Than the Sum, by Christopher L Bennett
Losing the Peace, by William Leisner
Paths of Disharmony, by Dayton Ward
Deep Space Nine
Rough Beasts of Empire, by David R George III
Voyager
Full Circle, by Kirsten Beyer
The Eternal Tide, by Kirsten Beyer
Titan
Taking Wing, by Michael A Martin & Andy Mangels
The Red King, by Michael A Martin & Andy Mangels
Orion's Hounds, by Christopher L Bennett
Sword of Damocles, by Geoffrey Thorne
Destiny
Gods of Night, by David Mack
Mere Mortals, by David Mack
Lost Souls, by David Mack
Other
Articles of the Federation, by Keith RA DeCandido
A Singular Destiny, by Keith RA DeCandido
Revenant (Seven Deadly Sins), Marc D Giller

Happy New Year Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fans!
rn2020 is finally over, and we all know it was shit, but it did give me the long-awaited opportunity to complete #DS9Season13 - Typhon Pact.
rnhttps://www.DS9Continuing.com/season-13-typhon-pact
rnWe previously knew little of the adventures of DS9's crew during the rise of the Federation's latest antagonist, the Typhon Pact. Rough Beasts of Empire followed Sisko on USS Robinson, while A Singular Destiny followed Dax on USS Aventine.
rnBut what about everyone else? Now I reveal for the first time the critically important actions taken by Kira, Ro, Bashir, Tenmei, Shar, Nog, Cenn, Evik, Quark, Candlewood and Matthias in a Federation devastated by the Borg Invasion.
rnHow does a civilised society respond to such horrifically uncivilised events? And what if unscrupulous parties should try to take advantage of the Federation's wounded state? That is the core of #DS9Season13 - timely themes as our own world tries to recover from some of the worst events in our history.

The DS9Continuing project comes full circle. In my seventh and final season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine stories, I return to how the whole thing started - with a largely faithful adaptation of the official DS9 novels into TV episode-length screenplays. After seven years' worth of these "episodes", which took more than twice as long to write, and the Pocket Books literary continuity ending anyway in deference to the new Star Trek TV shows, it felt like time to bring this to a close.
rnrnrnThe novels in question are Zero Sum Game by David Mack, and the epic two-part Plagues of Night / Raise the Dawn by David R George III - with guest appearances from a handful of other stories along the way. That DRG3 duology was always designed as a potential end point for the DS9 story, making this an even more appropriate place to leave my tale.
rnrnReaders familiar with the DS9 novel line will already know the general shape of this story. But I hope there will still be turns to surprise and delight even the most well-read of DS9 fans. I expanded the story beyond that told in the novels, bringing characters old and new to the forefront, hoping to create a powerful and emotional farewell to those denizens of Deep Space Nine, Bajor and beyond with whom we first fell in love almost 30 years ago.

This story arc focuses on the Mirror Universe version of Montgomery Scott, for the most part, though the side stories have a whole lot of other characters and a whole lot of people you might not expect show up. Starting with his life as a rebel engineer, and Empire-created orphan, it follows how he got 'drafted' into Empire service and the rather cold-blooded results of that, all the way through the TOS era. He starts out as the hero of the story, but in the end... well, it's very much up to the reader how they view him.
This is a violent tale, but not entirely. Like most mirror stories, there are mentions of sex, violence and lots of other stuff, but it's not really glorified and never can be called gratuitous. It is also very plot-heavy in how things tie together, hence the reading order explained below. Just remember that he was born in 2222 and you should be fine.
Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace is the main story of the arc, and stands alone. It's written in past-to-present-to-past style. The rest of the stories, from Another Man's Treasure to Inevitable are all POV pieces that enhance the main arc. Those are meant to be read in chronological order.

The Daranaeans are the only sentient marsupial species in the Milky Way galaxy, and they have a hierarchical society. What started off as a difficult First Contact on February fifth of 2160 leads to an eventual friendship. Like their individuals emerge from their mothers' pouches, the Daranaeans as a society, and as a species, are emerging from their Dark Ages.

When Nero and Spock Prime go back in time, the USS Kelvin and the planet Vulcan are both destroyed. Vulcans become an endangered species, and even prisoners like Eriecho and her adoptive father, Saddik, are whisked away, to help repair the damage done to one of the earliest members of the Federation. These are their stories. This series takes place in the JJ Abrams Alt-TOS universe. As always, I thank you for reading, reviewing and inspiring.

What happens when, in the face of terrible suffering, the only options that appear to be left are the most desperate ones? What price are you willing to pay for the sake of a life?
I found out when one of Gul Re'jal's stories--The Shadow of the Order--got so deeply under my skin that, afraid the story would end with no solution, a certain scenario wouldn't get out of my head no matter what I did...
These stories are all written and posted with the kind permission of Gul Re'jal, and she has been a wonderful consultant for all of them too, making sure I stay on target with her characters and universe even as I play in her sandbox. This series is also posted with thanks to kes7 at Ad Astra for two writing prompts that served as the impetus to write all of this down.
All stories contain heavy spoilers for Gul Re'jal's The Shadow of the Order. Please read her excellent work first. Please also be sure to read the stories in order.
