The aging starship Gibraltar is brought out of mothballs to assist in Federation humanitarian relief operations within Cardassian territory in the immediate aftermath of the Dominion War. The crew quickly discovers not everyone shares the Federation's vision for Cardassia's future.

Season One, Episode Three of Star Trek: Full Speed Ahead (Series Premiere/Pilot)

Stardate 43232.5: (continued from Part II) With the Farragut en route to the Tristnor facility, Captain Leone and her crew, along with the Kasui batallion aboard, meet heavy resistance in their attempt to steal the Alpha device and make it possible for them to return to Federation space. A fierce battle ensues and the know-how of the skeleton crew works to gain the upper hand in the struggle! Meanwhile, Wilson tries to come to terms with the knowledge that their return to the Federation means he must say goodbye to his friends aboard ship, and Greg weathers pressure from the captain to seek the promotion he's been avoiding for the past four years.

Part Four of The Quarterdeck Breed:

Stardate 51901.4: Lieutenant Ushiyama handles a reconnaissance mission deep within Dominion territory... and his feelings for his captain.

(2256) Pike makes more use of Lieutenant Scott than simply engineering and assassination. Based off of Wraith in the main arc. Very dark, twisted story.

(2245 - 2255) A much shorter story, it looks at how things change over time (how much of it conditioning, how much of it choice?) from One Minute more from Scott's perspective, though the relationship is still rather one-sided. 'Haunting' is probably the best way it was described. It covers a lot of ground in a small space. Violent in the beginning, warm in the moments... and sorrow in the end.

(2245 - 2254) This is a very intense first-person POV story from the perspective of the free agent who acts as the go-between from Scott to the rebellion while he's stationed on Earth. Starting with the free agent's twisted one-sided obsession with a shadow, this story's very dark in the beginning, but it certainly isn't all dark and misery -- as time goes on, things change. This story is a heart-breaker. There's no easy way to sum it up, but if there's one thing you can call it, you can call it very human. Pay attention to my warnings, though, please.
