Summary: The year is 2388, and the Alpha Quadrant enjoys a period of unprecedented peacefulness, which allows Starfleet to return to their primary modus operandi: exploration. Utilizing technology largely stolen from the Dominion by Starfleet Intelligence, Task Force 89 has been assigned to generate a temporary artificial wormhole to the furthest reaches of the unexplored Alpha Quadrant. Their original mission was slated to last three years, but when outside forces get to meddling, it quickly becomes clear that the mission parameters have changed drastically. (At present, Task Force 89 encompasses the USS Impetuous storyline, with more ships to come!)

Summary: The year is 2388, and people have finally begun to relax. With many Alpha Quadrant factions still struggling to recover from the losses they incurred during the Dominion War, Starfleet has decided to focus on its original purpose: exploration. A task fleet has been assembled, which aims to utilize technology captured from the Dominion to create a temporary wormhole to parts of the Alpha Quadrant that were previously unexplored. The smallest vessel is USS Impetuous, a Sabre-class vessel Captained by the disgraced joined Trill, Etaera Lin.
