Yay! The interviews are back! And a shoutout to Commander Madden!
Excellent, and I like how self-effacing Alex is. He knows his place, I guess, and understands that Jean-Luc might, at times, choose the Enterprise over him. But he's okay with it.
Author's Response: Yes...I thought Alex was a most interesting character. I hadn't read MrPicard's story before, which, if you think about it, is the point of the character interviews; to introduce us to stories we haven't read before. Some of the subject matter isn't my cup of tea, but, none-the-less,I read all the chapters and Alex is written as a real person, and that's a hard thing for any writer to accomplish; realism. Great job Alex! Rob

Yeah, you're right, this is one of the oddest things you've written. But it's hilarious.
