Peculiar expression-funny stuff. Wow, what a great big beast of a story this seems to be! So far, so good!

Author's Response: Thank you

Oh what joy to read TOS characters. I feel like I am watching a TOS episode. The mannerisms and speech of our trio are just sweetly spot on. You have a keen eye and a keen ear too for it picks out the right words, the best turn of phrase. Wonderful stuff Anna.

Already we see Kirk and Spock almost at loggerheads. Both trust the other implicitly but seeing the other put themsleves in harm's way causes them to lose perspective at times. Spock is almost stubborn as a mule but so serene in demeanour that he comes across as paragon of duty and logic.

Kirk finds himself tied up in his usual escapades and as usual is putting the needs of others first and taking the safety of his crew as a paramount concern.

As for McCoy? Love the cranky cantankerous mouth of his but how it's steeped in an overriding concern for his patients. The thought process about Joanna was a neat touch and it all helps to explain that he wasn't some cranky old misery guts but a passionate caring humanatarian. [Except perhaps when it comes to Vulcans!]

Author's Response: LOL. Spock *is* stubborn as a mule, even he himself admits it. So is Kirk. No wonder they clash. McCoy is not beyond hope with Vulcans, but he is kinda messed up there, yes. Thank you for commenting!

Loved this first chapter! (Will read & write a short review for the chapters whenever I get the chance to!)

My favorite scene was the one in which Kirk discovers that Spock's actually hurt. He really knows him well!

I also loved the last scene with Bones and that Vulcan. *giggle* It's always funny to see Bones vs. Vulcans. ;)

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, I suppose Bones has a thing for Vulcans. LOL. I'm glad if you're enjoying this. :-)
