OMG!!!! I can't wait to read how this turns out!!! I loved Spock's "I know what I'm doing" line. OMGOMG.
And I adored Kirk's thoughts at the beginning. Oh yes, the decision-maker...

Dear Anna, as I said before, all is tying. The Auto da Fe is not a silly joke anymore. This is a hell of a chapter. Remember when I said the fight chapter was a bridge to another, not yet in the light? Well, it seems this is "the chapter" I was expecting.Explains, ties, and twists. Disturbing.Powerful.Painful.
