Summary:

The USS Pearl returns in Book II of Star Trek Chronicles. Set a few months after the ending of Book I, the Pearl is preparing once again to launch after repairing the damage suffered at New Haven. But amidst all this, the mysterious enemy begins making its final movements for its masterstroke and in the process destablizes one of the powers of the Alpha and Beta quadrants.

As old foes emerge, so do new allies.

Summary:
