Bio: Having only recently been able to find the time to reconnect with the Trek universe I love, I was not at all sure how to refresh my bio. I finally settled on the following:
I won’t tell you how old I am, but I was 15 when the Enterprise streaked across America’s TV screens for the first time ever. I have two sons, two daughters-in-law, one grandson (a just turned thirteen gamer), and two granddaughters (along with them comes one steady boyfriend and one soon-to-be grandson-in-law).
Previous to Katrina, I made a decent supplemental living painting murals. Now my day job is forensic accounting related to claims adjusting. Most people think that juxtaposition is weird – go figure. My sons have been instructed that if I ever come up missing they should call Pixar Studios and ask for the doughnut trolley lady. (I would actually pay those people to let me peer over their shoulders while they work their magic.)
I have lived in a little hamlet about 80 miles north of New Orleans for more than 20 years - which is why reference to south Louisiana is a thread that runs through most of my stories - and is fitting, because my favorite character, the much misunderstood and often underestimated Christine Chapel, was born in New Orleans.
Other than Unsung Heroes (a collaboration with Sam Pengraff and into which I still managed a reference to New Orleans) my stories are all TOS - my first Trek love.
Alas, it has been another long hiatus in writing, not to mention posting stories, and I hope to post a revised story soon, with more to come later.
Meanwhile, I am grateful for the comments and reviews of my older stories. They inspired and encouraged me to set out on the journey and boldly go forward into the future once again.
