9. Klingon Afternoon - Redux by Gibraltar [Reviews - 2] Liked (4059 words)

This is a re-working of my short story Klingon Afternoon, which I was never entirely happy with. I decided it would also be an excellent opportunity to fold the story into The Long Road for consistency's sake.

The story takes place during the brief Klingon/Federation war chronicled in Deep Space Nine.

10. Death Valley by Gibraltar [Reviews - 3] Liked (3060 words)

This is a story written by my fellow United Trek author DarKush, writer of the Dark Territory series.  Lar'ragos figures prominently in it, and I thought it would make for an excellent addition to this work.

13. A Tale of Two Vials by Terilynn by Gibraltar [Reviews - 1] Liked (2696 words)

This story is penned by Terilynn, who wanted to include Pava Lar'ragos in one of her Heritage stories.  Here are her original chapter notes: Co-credit needs to be given to Gibraltar for his advice regarding his amazing character Pava Lar'ragos. When asked where he thought Pava might be in 30+ after the Gibraltar series, Gibraltar surmised that Pava might seek an education and continued service to the UFP as a physician - in the hopes he could heal others...and maybe himself in the process. While attempting to obtain a rare vaccine to stem a pandemic, DOCTOR Lar'ragos stumbles into that generation's most notorious UFP traitor.
