It took awhile to catch on to the dystopia you've created, but that's some pretty intense world building with some research. 

I got a kick out of the line "...pervrerted, like screwing a dog or a politician..."

The idea of New Jihad leaders being posers has a ring of truth to it. Reminds me of Taliban leaders driving around in their technicals quaffing whisky and listening to Madonna.
