Oh, my! Arik reminds me so much of Data from early TNG seasons. He is different, of course, but seeing the world and natural for humanoids things through his eyes is like a trip into unknown. No doubt, he would also want to call sickbay for me, because I had exactly the same reaction Ilara had.

Something tells me that Lore is the new Que...King of the collective. Adding Data to that mixture will bring interesting results...although I'm not sure good ones.
Tomalak cannot be trusted. I think he played that little show in front of the allies to get Data on his ship and force him to make more androids, which Tomalak could use against the Borg--and who knows for what else.

Who could expect that some day a Cardassian would be a mediator between two powers. But Nvrell is perfect for this role: always composed, calm and clearly thinking.
On the outside, at least. Inside, he cares so much about his family, worries so much and misses them so much. I so hope that he can see them all again safe and sound. He--and them-deserve that.
I'm not surprised by Chelkan's promotion at all :) He had struck me as material for a good captain at once.

Seems like Alex matured a lot during these three months that passed. He has a goal now, he knows what he wants. I don't think he would be suddenly less cocky, but at least he has a clear purpose and is determined to achieve his goal and that's important in life.
