Aw come on man! You've GOT to finish this story! You've got a great character in Junt and a great mystery with the out-of-ship body... So many directions they could each go.

And one of the best stories in Babylon 5 was how the labor crisis was resolved - getting angry workers to an amicable agreement is a great storyline in itself.

Big fan of Junt - he's a potent adversary and clever enough to know when to deal. And Sandhurst might find Junt a more reliable negotiating partner than Rameriz. A great story is waiting to be told here.

Thanks!! rbs

Some great dialogue in this episode: This made Ch'har smirk. "What sort of Vulcan are you, Lieutenant?"

"An opinionated one," was Verrik's reply.

and:

"A new pair of underwear would be nice, but nothing to drink."

Big fan of witty dialogue, particularly in the face of disaster. Very interested to find out what caused the demise of the Harrier and fun to see Juneau in the captain's chair.

Quite the gripping  beam-in scene!

So this is what the character Junt is being developed for. He will be a particularly difficult cookie to handle. But ferengi are famous for making deals.

I particularly liked the contrast of Sandhurst reverently donning the dress uniform with the chaos of his reception.

I'm quite enjoying Junt. Ferengi are supposed to be smart but played way too often as low-grade morons. He gives a sense of being quite capable. I suspect his new employees quickly find out that the freedom he offers comes with eternal debt to the company store.

Also quite pleased by Sandhurst's reconciliation with his decision. It would be tempting to drag that torment out to milk it, but that would be a disservice to the character. And I'm enjoying Juneau's growth as a character - she's becoming too competent to continue to be an effective hiding place for the S31 parasite..

So the Section 31 agent isn't a sectioned off part of Juneau - it's a free-floating parasitic consciousness? That's gotta rankle. But Juenau might be a lot better off free of it.

Goes after not entirely bright ones because the smart ones would be onto it much faster.

I have to agree with the vice admiral - and I suspect Sandhurst will too before this is over. What's left of Rameriz is her family - she would care about that. Looks like the vultures are circling.

Interesting environment for this story - and a hint that the family might not be totally on the up and up.

Ack! Still finishing this one I guess...oh well. Neat so far! Can't wait for the rest!

Author's Response:

Yes, unfortunately this one got left by the wayside. I fully intend to come back and finish it... sometime!

I love this story even if it is a bittersweet tale, a reminder of people lost and the rifts created between others.

I hope the fact that it is now showing up here means we'll be getting some new stuff soon!

Author's Response:

Thanks for the comment, CeJay.  I'm working on it, promise.  :-)
