I LOLed.  This is great.  Really creative and fun.  I'm going to play it with my kids.  Keep it up!

Author's Response: Thanks, kes7! You know, I actually haven't yet tried playing my own Mad Libs yet...

Oh the reason for Troi is simple. She was dreamed up by Q as a means to pester and annoy Picard as well as to crash two of his ships. It's a conspiracy reaching back years!

Author's Response: Wow...that's a story right there.

Troi: Maybe, captain. I’m definitely sensing that they may or may not probably attack us. LOL! So LOL! Hee, hee. Likewise ____ (colour) alert! A crazy simple genius this is!

Author's Response: Thanks again! I still can't figure out what Troi's real function on the bridge is...

Hee, hee. I'd so watch that! wait! I think I did on so many different occasions. In fact, I think you could also swap out the character names too. Swap for generic character rank or trait just like the Ensign ______ (random name). Especially loved the _____ (verb ending in -ing) one. LOL.

Author's Response: Thanks! And thanks for the suggestions! You can definitely tell that I had fun with this...seems like there are endless parodies of the TOS crew, I say it's time to poke fun at TNG!

Okay, this is friggin' genius!  :-D  Mad-Lib-Treknobabble!

So spot-on as to be a bit scary.  Nice work.

Author's Response: Hehe...thanks! Glad you liked it. I came up with doing Madlibs when I learned that all Star Trek scripts were written pretty much like that, except instead of blank spaces they would put the word "tech." Then they'd pass the script off to the science consultants who would replace them with real techno-mumbo-jumbo.
