Great...I hope there is a follow up story as to what happens to them on Andoria, if they get deported. Will Tyler Edwards travel to Andoria to cover the trial there?

Author's Response: Tyler Edwards is me, the real author. :P Within the universe, the story was written by James Harfield, an ENN reporter. So, no, as much as I would like to, I will not be traveling to Andoria. However, I can't rule out doing a follow up to this article. I try not to leave any loose ends. I do have a lot of other arcs to work on, though, so it may be sometime before I get around to deciding what the next development is, let alone writing the article. Unless of course someone else were to submit a follow-up...

Good God, that is SCARY to contemplate--the idea that a military would not be ready to BE a military.  I hope that never happens IRL, because if it does, chaos will be the result.

You summed up the feelings of darn near every soldier since Hammurabi and yet kept it Star Trek. Very poignant.

Interesting. So Telsong was a diversion? Not a very good feint, was it?

Author's Response: It wasn't all a diversion. But the Romulans are nothing if not resourceful. When events turned away from their favor, they started looking for ways to make a gain from it.

OMFSM It's back!!! WOOT! Tyler - I so love this series and I'm so glad you're posting it here! Excellent POV and one that I don't think I thought of to tell you the truth. I really appreciated the "historical" perspective you placed on it, allowing the reader to really grasp how odd it would be not to get "real-time" information and just how lucky we are to have that now and how devastating, both tactically and mentally, it would be to lose that capability. As always - WELL DONE.

I don't know why I broke off reading this series--think I just got sucked into my own work, mainly...but I'm still loving it!

One thing that's interesting--that Denobula is one of the staunchest backers of the war.  I would've never pinned the Denobulans that way, based on Phlox...so I'm kinda curious what brought you to that decision.

Author's Response: It's been awhile since I wrote this article, so my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I think I wasn't so much thinking that Denobulans would be likely to back the war as I was thinking that they didn't have any reason not to. Vulcans have all that non-violent ideology, Andorians are wondering what happened to their fleet from the first strike and also a naturally argumentative people, and dissent is just a part of human nature. Someone had to support the war, and the Denobulans seemed to have the least reason not to. I've always felt that they're tougher than they look, too. On those occasions when Phlox stood up for his own beliefs, he displayed an iron will and impressive determination.
