Thank you for the great wrap up to an intriguing series.
Date: 18 Jul 2011 19:42 Title: Questions Linger as Earth Recovers
I am so glad you are back with these this most innovated way to do a Star Trek story. Well done Tyler! They read so smoothly!
Date: 26 Aug 2010 19:32 Title: Virus Mystery Solved
Wow, what a clever solution! Very creative!
Date: 26 Aug 2010 19:30 Title: Breaking News: Attack on Earth Thwarted
Echoes of current wars and the way politicos and the media respond to them
Date: 22 Jun 2010 19:42 Title: Loss of Intrepid Hits Home at ENN
Wow, most of your stuff is fairly emotionless due to the format but that really had zing in it.
Date: 22 Jun 2010 19:40 Title: Terra Prime Gunmen Caught
Neat side note to the overall story.
Date: 22 Jun 2010 19:39 Title: Trapped in the Dark
As a claustrophobe I could really relate to the feelings expressed.
Date: 13 May 2010 16:48 Title: Terra Prime Gunmen Caught
Great...I hope there is a follow up story as to what happens to them on Andoria, if they get deported. Will Tyler Edwards travel to Andoria to cover the trial there?
Author's Response: Tyler Edwards is me, the real author. :P Within the universe, the story was written by James Harfield, an ENN reporter. So, no, as much as I would like to, I will not be traveling to Andoria. However, I can't rule out doing a follow up to this article. I try not to leave any loose ends. I do have a lot of other arcs to work on, though, so it may be sometime before I get around to deciding what the next development is, let alone writing the article. Unless of course someone else were to submit a follow-up...

Good God, that is SCARY to contemplate--the idea that a military would not be ready to BE a military. I hope that never happens IRL, because if it does, chaos will be the result.
Date: 11 Feb 2010 20:57 Title: Malfunctions Linked to Romulan Virus
Hmm, pretty straight-forward.
Date: 26 Jan 2010 20:45 Title: Once, We Were Explorers
You summed up the feelings of darn near every soldier since Hammurabi and yet kept it Star Trek. Very poignant.
Date: 17 Dec 2009 21:34 Title: Communication Overcomes All Boundaries
An interesting and important point to cover. Communications must be kept open.
Date: 17 Dec 2009 21:32 Title: Andorian General Confirms Attack
Interesting. So Telsong was a diversion? Not a very good feint, was it?
Author's Response: It wasn't all a diversion. But the Romulans are nothing if not resourceful. When events turned away from their favor, they started looking for ways to make a gain from it.

OMFSM It's back!!! WOOT! Tyler - I so love this series and I'm so glad you're posting it here! Excellent POV and one that I don't think I thought of to tell you the truth. I really appreciated the "historical" perspective you placed on it, allowing the reader to really grasp how odd it would be not to get "real-time" information and just how lucky we are to have that now and how devastating, both tactically and mentally, it would be to lose that capability. As always - WELL DONE.
Date: 13 Oct 2009 16:29 Title: Unrest on Andoria
Unrest on many planets, news organizations behind it, sounds like a conspiracy.
Date: 13 Oct 2009 16:26 Title: Incursion Defeated, Telsong Attacks Slacken
Good bit and a very officious report on the after-effects of the Telsong initiative.
Date: 11 Oct 2009 14:26 Title: Unrest on Andoria
Better written than Enterprise The Good That Men Do and Enterprise Kobayashi Maru. Falls well within established time frame
Date: 31 Aug 2009 20:06 Title: Breaking News: Romulans Break Through Telsong Defenses
Great!
Date: 29 Jul 2009 21:49 Title: Truth for Andoria!
Interesting how you bring to light conflicts that your articles don't directly address. The tension in Andorian society, rebellious attitudes, etc.
Date: 13 Jul 2009 19:33 Title: War Intensifies Along the Telsong Front
Always nice to see a new installment. Lots of info buried in this one-typical Vulcan reporting, I assume.
Date: 22 Jun 2009 19:16 Title: Imperial Guard Leads Coalition Forces to Important Victory
Excellent-and the war progresses somewhat in favor of the CoP. Good entry. Been waiting for it.
Date: 26 May 2009 23:24 Title: European Elections Spark Debate
Excellent! gLAD THIS IS STILL GOING!
Date: 12 May 2009 01:45 Title: Tensions Rise Across CoP
I don't know why I broke off reading this series--think I just got sucked into my own work, mainly...but I'm still loving it!
One thing that's interesting--that Denobula is one of the staunchest backers of the war. I would've never pinned the Denobulans that way, based on Phlox...so I'm kinda curious what brought you to that decision.
Author's Response: It's been awhile since I wrote this article, so my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I think I wasn't so much thinking that Denobulans would be likely to back the war as I was thinking that they didn't have any reason not to. Vulcans have all that non-violent ideology, Andorians are wondering what happened to their fleet from the first strike and also a naturally argumentative people, and dissent is just a part of human nature. Someone had to support the war, and the Denobulans seemed to have the least reason not to. I've always felt that they're tougher than they look, too. On those occasions when Phlox stood up for his own beliefs, he displayed an iron will and impressive determination.

Excellent! More, please!
Date: 29 Apr 2009 02:18 Title: Breaking News: Salem One Station Lost
Quickly becoming one of my favorite reads on this site...I am really liking this. The length is JUST perfect. I am working with the military (due to go to Iraq later this summer) and the way you are writing this makes it seem relevent...
