Author's Response: Thank you, Gojirob, I'm glad you liked it! :) Yes, hesitating in the face of an obvious threat. I knew that with the culture I created for the Mrall'Orion and of what we saw in TOS, that that theme would be especially true. I'm happy I lived up to the ADU standards. ;)

You kept to one of the best traditions of daikaiju eiga - that the monster's appearances are actually few and ferocious, and to those on the ground, absolutely terrifying. You also picked up on one of my themes in the ADU - dithering in the face of an obvious threat. I am greatly honored to have my cycle inspire a story of this quality and depth. Excellent!
