This is clearly going to be a different kind of Star Trek story and I'm quite curious to see where you take it. And while I'm generally not a big fan of future-Trek stories, you've done such a great job with Restoration and painted such a fascinating, if dark, future that I just gotta give this a try.
It helps of course that you have put together a group of characters which sound immensely interesting even though we've only met two of them so far.

Sounds like this is going to be a wild ride. Jules sounds like he likes the chaos and fruition of a plan - almost like Hannibal and he has his A-Team awaiting him in the wings. The planning was exquisite! And all done with a smile.
His record makes for interesting reading. This is one intriguing character and history. And the set up is wonderful for a thrilling adventure. Good speed. Good speed.
Author's Response: Hannibal and the A-Team?! Cool, I love that comparison. Yeah, Jules enjoys his planning and plotting, and managing to escape with finesse. However, he also has a darker side, that will soon be unveiled as the story progresses. His record is definitely intriguing, more on that later! :) Glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much for the review!

Great start.
A possible renegade Head of Starfleet Intelligence taking on Section 31 with a team that sounds like it belongs in a bad bar joke...am interested to see what happens.
Author's Response: Lol, if you can write that bar joke, I would love to hear it. (So, a Cardassian hacker, a Ferengi thief, a half-Klingon half-Romulan warrior and a hu-mon walk into a bar. The bar tender says... :) )
