That is a clever idea for a story, little ficlets for each of the major casts in a remix of TOS “Where No Man Has Gone Before,â€
I did like the Jack and Jean-Luc version of the face down with a wonderful put down line and a chilling last line.
Interesting Voyager choice a logical reason for Voyager to enter the Galactic Barrier and how Janeway’s Captain Log reflects her worry in that awkward position of a crewmember accelerated evolution.
I did enjoy the DS9 scene with Sisko picking up on the tombstone misspelling as he takes down Jadzia.
Then the Enterprise version with Archer trying to face down and reason with T’Pol but only to be knocked aside by Trip. The Xindi have been dealt with as an afterthought helps show it not TOS and that final line is as creep as a ship full of Vulcan Zombies.
Then your final twist with New History is surprising in keep with the mature choice of Kirk and both Spock’s and Uhura shock at Kirk reason for keeping the Enterprise out of the Barrier, all felt as right as the other mini ficlets.
I have to end my review summary with the same two words as your story “Good One.â€

I may have been giving New-Kirk a bit too much credit, based on 'Into Darkness', but one can hope. I think I not only hit each era, but each major action point of WNMHGB. Of course, each one of these is dependent on Kirk and Mitchell's encounter never having happened in these 'worlds'. Thanks!

That was crazy awesome...wow, I mean, that Sisko part was KILLER (quite literally and figuratively-I LOLed with the "L not R" bit.) Nice work.

Thanks. It was fun to write, the only challenge being how to break up so simple a plot as it was adapted.
