Sad and haunting, this explains why Guinan hates Q so. Interesting take on the idea-a past love affair was not at the top of my list of guesses for their antagonism.

Nice.

Equally troubled and haunted.  El Aurians doubtless harbor many hurts from their long histories.  It must be difficult for them not to harden their hearts from such pain.

At least we now know Guinan can hold a grude.
