LOL! And no one is indispensable on a Haim Saban show - how very true. And also it seems maybe on Trek as well in that given case. Loved the code names - now the question is, which one wore the pink spandex suit?
Author's Response:
No one would wear it, so Quark sold it for a tidy profit.
Sadly, Haim Saban's legendary cheapness (reaching levels usually only seen in stereotyped caricatures) has adversely impacted the recent Anniversary Rangers show, with very, very few alumni choosing to return, and fewer still of any vintage or standing.

Hee, hee. Crazy capers but complete and utter mad cap fun the whole way.
Author's Response:
One of the major writers for MASH was Dennis Koenig, Walter's nephew. Shared alumnus include Sally Kellerman (Dr. Dehner), James Cromwell (Cochrane in FC), John Anderson (TNG's The Survivors) and likely a few others. Thanks - most people don't even get why I used Picard in that instance.

Again, whack but glorious. And it tells a mad fascinating story too.
Author's Response:
That dialogue was among the hokiest I have ever written. But damn it felt good.

Whack. But awesome. And I found myself imagining highly stylised comic renderings of the characters as I read through. That's pretty darn cool.

This was great!!!! I am a big fan of Gardner Fox and I think, where ever he is up in the blue sky of heaven, he has read this and smiled...great job
Rob
Author's Response:
I somehow had a feeling this would be your cup of tea. It was fun--if a bit mind-bending--to write in that clunky but cool 40's style. Trying to write like Roy Thomas in the 60's--that might even be painful. I once went as Jay Garrick for Halloween.

Hee hee. Do they all get appropriate costumes too?
