Author's Response: That was written as a response to a Trek Novel Fest challenge--I had a blast with it, and I am a total folklore geek, so I had fun trying to emulate the style of books like Hyde's Trickster Makes This World. I don't know if I'd ever expand on it or apply the style to other Fed worlds, but it was a blast to write, and and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

WOW. Not only am I a great fan of Uhura's Song (and therefore very happy to see what a Vulcan trickster is like), but you also demonstrate GREAT familiarity with Earth's mythology, and you capture that scholarly feel in your excerpts from this Federation mythology book.
WONDERFUL worldbuilding! I would love to see more of this from you--I wonder if you would take on other worlds?
