Crikey. That was something else. I was initally intrigued by the alternate Endgame timeline and wondered where you were going with this but it turns out it wasn't where I thought at all. The spiritual walk with Tom and Chakotay was something else. Quite eye opening in many ways and makes me look at the characters differently - most especially Chakotay's rather ineffectual role as Executive Officer. Great stuff. Very different.
Author's Response: Thanks. Figuring out a fic-explanation for Chakotay's fade was hard, till I looked to the spiritual realm. Bodhisattva, BTW, is a Hindu concept, one that I felt would be more familiar to readers than the similar (at least in their broadest aspects in-story 'Hayoka', one Chakotay was more likely to use.
