That was extremely moving, and the sex was very hot. I think you're exactly right about that inherent character flaw in all 3--Kirk, Spock, and McCoy. They are givers, defenders, and leaders; they just don't know how to take for themselves. I've often thought that they'd be happier if they could be just a tiny bit selfish.

That just hurt beyond words. It seems this man is destined to be alone, to be unhappy, and all of it the result of his own stubbornness, his desire to be all things to others, but to never take what they offer him. ::sigh::
It's this quality that endears him to those who love him, care about him; makes them want to be able to ease his self-imposed turmoil, help him find his place, be at peace with himself. I so hope you write a story someday where that dream is finally realized for him. He so deserves it...

I think you channeled here a lot of T'Aine, Saavik, and even God bless him Bones. :) I don't know if I could write such a story, for I don't know how this arc ends yet. I really don't know. I'm not a monster, I just can't make him happy against his will.

I´m glad you are writing this stories, filling gaps here and there. The reader can understand each of them as a stand alone, but they are more enjoyable if you read all of them. I´ll be waiting for more.
Poor T´Aine. She deserved better.
McCoy was alone? Why? You break my heart, woman.
