Fun little random read. I liked the letters format of it, though the dates were kinda throwing me for a loop. Poor girl though...her little brother is bad. And I think it worked fine for you to go off the experiences you had in high school...she definitely came across like a teen girl. And it was kinda neat to see that, no matter the species, some things are universal:
"She calls it IDIC. When she said that in class we all laughed (except some of the boys-they are so stupid sometimes!)..."
Nice. lol
Author's Response: Well, thank you! I did sort of steal from Podkayne of Mars, too...

As the mother of two teenaged girls, who hang out with their teenaged girl friends, all I can say is...boy did that ring true ;-)
Nice twist at the end - I am learning to expect that from you. ;-) I so didn't see that coming.
Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks. As a male with no girls, I am glad it rang true-I have no experience(directly) with teen girls outside of my highschool memories. :)

It seems future girls are still the same.....
Cattle?! A rude Captain. Really.
Author's Response: As a ship's Cpt.-they are all cattle to be transported.

I was reading this and then it came to me; I have read it before. Not sure where, or when, but the story is still very fun to read. In fact, did it continue? I hope so.
I like your 'unique' stories, Mistral. I too like to take the STAR TREK concept and try new things, so, I am totally with you on this one...so...in one word...

Cute idea, but the title makes me headdesk. It's not bad, though.
Author's Response: Headdesk? Um, pardon, what?

Author's Response: *snickers* the perfect reaction.
