I am always happy to see a new story from you, but this one was heartbreaking! It's not like you haven't broken my heart before, though... I loved the moments between Jim and Amanda, the almost complete silence of shared pain--because what is there to say, really? It's its own strange kind of gift to that someone else shares your suffering because they shared your love. Thank you for this beautiful tribute. I think it honors Mr. Nimoy well.

It wasn't a tribute in the true sense of the word, but I hope it did capture the profound grief all of Mr. Nimoy's fans felt when they got the news of his passing. I'm not a crier, but did shed a tear or two that day...
