I enjoyed this final chapter. It was so endearing to see Jean-Luc making room in his bed for his anxious children. I loved the way he called the twin boys his "cadets". He is a good papá and really did quite well while Beverly was away, but of course he was glad when Q made her reappear.
The magic show was a good touch. Q played along with Jean-Luc calling him a magician, and gave the kids a spin through the air.
The tender, peaceful bedtime moment with Beverly and Jean-Luc was a good way to end the tale. Hmm. "Course of action". Cute.

Jean-Luc dealing with sick tummies. And giving them milk and croissants? Not a good idea. I liked the fact that Paul isn't good at everything, after all, and Jean-Luc did not pressure him about the Academy. He is a warm, caring father, and doing his best under trying circumstances.

Oh, wow. Q interfering in Jean-Luc's family dynamic. Q is not my favorite guy, but this time he has really gone too far.
I like the fact that you have given the captain his dream family, complete with a female Rene into arts and crafts. But like Q, I have my doubts whether or not Jean-Luc can handle this little crew all on his own. I have a feeling that there will be some rough seas ahead.
