I enjoyed this when I did the beta, and enjoyed it again when reading just now. Yes, it would have to feel strange, and awkward, to see counterparts to yourself, or to know that counterpart was dead while you still lived, but it seems only natural that there would be a feeling of kinship, of camaraderie, that would bring the survivors of both groups together. Nice work.
