Very touching story. The loss of a ship encapsulating a family, the loss of a legend, the loss of actual family. They all made a difference.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the read and kind words. Yes, family on many levels.

What does that little "thumbs up" sign mean, and where does it comes from? I'm seeing it all over Ad Astra now.

That last line was exceptionally well done. What a gut punch.

Author's Response:

Wow, thank you! A gut punch! I'm so glad you liked it.

Again a nice story of the family of our heroes it was good to have some-one for Picard to share that moment of Kirk's death with.

A very Human tale but very enjoyable for it.

Author's Response:

Thanks so much for your remarks. Glad you enjoyed the story!

I likes this.  Bits from Generations woven seamlessly with your own personal canon.  Lots of families here - some conventional, others not so much, but all blending and sharing those feelings that make others special to us, whether related to us by blood or other unique personal ties.  Very well done.

Author's Response:

Thanks so much. Yes, Picard is dealing with family on three different levels. :)

Oh, that's rather bittersweet (the film is, too, in some ways).

Author's Response:

Yes, I agree about the film. And my series does tend to have a lot of heartache. Thanks for the comment!
