LMAO! Spiders for the win!
Author's Response:
Glad you enjoyed that little arachnid romp. I sure had fun writing it.

And so we come full circle, nicely done. And long last the spider shall return where it came from after getting a nice little tour of a starship and scaring the crap out of half the senior crew.
Cute little story. Great job.
Author's Response:
Yes, and now I can only wonder what plans Spock has for the spider this time. Or will Lauren finally find the courage to squash it on her own?
Thanks for taking the time to read it and leave comments!

Separating the boys an girls? That's population control! Doctor McCoy, you are a monster.
How exactly did this spider make any babies anyway? Is there another spider roaming around on the ship or did mommy spider black widow it's mate?
Author's Response:
Yes, McCoy is definitely a heartless fiend.
It would seem that there is another spider roaming about somewhere, which our inebriated arachnid found after falling down the laundry chute.

Great Scott (pun intended), now there is a drunk spider on the loose. As if this couldn't get any worse.
Author's Response:
Oh, yes. One never knows what sort of mischief an inebriated arachnid can get into. Read on and you will find out.

Starfleet ships have a housekeeping department? I guess the Klingons were right after all. The Federation truly wallows in luxury.
Sounds like that spider is going to cause all kinds of havoc. Now that it has gone after the captain, I think an armed response by security is in order. Phasers on stun, of course.
Author's Response:
Sure, Starfleet puts a high value on cleanliness. Those ships are spic and span.
Captain Kirk may yet consider the use of phasers, perhaps even on Sulu if he finds out about that little spider factory.
Thanks for the comments!

Good thing Vulcans don't feel embarrassment as any human may have felt a certain reluctance to share this little tale of spiders and underpants.
Author's Response:
Oh, Vulcans feel embarrassment, alright, even if they don't like to admit it. As you may recall, Spock felt his face warming in Kirk's quarters...and with good reason. I'm willing to bet that he didn't share this misadventure with anyone. Maybe Lauren just couldn't resist.... Perhaps a bit later when their marriage wrecked on the rocks of pon farr, she put the story out there for revenge. After all, she's only human.
Thanks for remarks!
