Being in the present tense didn't bother me. I was too into the story to notice. Nice buddy story! :)

Author's Response: Hurrah, glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for reviewing. :D

And I really enjoyed this one too :D You give good depth to Chekov and Sulu, give them firm character traits and play them out nicely.

Also, I like the concept of them being a little homesick. It is not something I've seen discussed before and it hasn't really occurred to me, but you're right, they, and especially Chekov are liable to be very homesick at times.

Thanks for writing and sharing.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed this one - thanks for reviewing! :D It's fun to play with the idea of the crew being a bit more down-to-earth (so to speak).

That was sweet. And quite funny. I can just imagine the shelves of kitschy knick-knacks from all over the galaxy in Chekov's quarters...

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I shudder to imagine the extent of Chekov's collection. ;)

That was an amusing take on a subject I've never seen visited in Trek fic before. Very original.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the fic - it's always fun to try something a little different.

Very sweet! Interesting that it's set in present tense. But it's definitely a cute, slice-of-life story. Thanks for it!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing! (And many people are commenting on the present tense - I went back and forth on it several times, and I'm not sure I made the right choice, in the end.)
