Ah, more MU goodness. Joachim has effectively ended the world but he seems quite confident he'll survive the day. Whether that confidence is misplaced ... now, that's the question, isn't it? Entertaining glimpse into this place.
Author's Response: thank you. I find the trick at the moment is to try and picture the actor. At the moment he seems someone else.

Oh, wow. What a clever idea! And yet another kicker of an ending, from a TToT fic. Really looking forward to seeing the continuation if that's in the works.
Author's Response: My thanks. I hope to do a continuation at some point, in longer form. More or less a Moon is Red II.

Oh yes yes yes yes!!! Is this a mirror universe story or a different alternate universe? Either way, I can't wait! Love it.
You did a great job of capturing Joachim's sadness and determination, a lot conveyed in that simple kiss on Khan's forehead. Interesting to see what might have happened if the Eugenics Wars had ended differently.
Can't wait to see where you go with this.
Author's Response: It's alternate universe. It relates to my story Moon is Red which sort of speculates on how the Terran Empire came about. It's hard to say where it'd go from here :)

Awesome. Great choice of character, history and significant moment all adding to a spell bounding moment. Terrific. Great affection given to canon in your style of things Mac and yet such a fitting twist to the Mirror Universe. Loved it.
Author's Response: You're most kind MF. British weather being what it is at the moment sort of affected this little piece. As for Khan, his time had come.

oooo, it's your mirror Khan again! Except...not...hum...anyway, awesome continuation of the story! Can't wait to see where else in history you take us!
Author's Response: Aye, it is my Khan again, or rather was. There'll be no Jack Kennedy though this time round.

Very interesting beginning, and I can't wait to read more. Singh was one of my favorite villians from the original Trek.

Nice to see the next iteration here of 'The Moon is Red,' as the tale continues beyond the reign of the mirror universe's first emperor. You already know I love this stuff, and this tale. Can't wait to see where it goes from here.

Good start Mac. I adore Khan stories. I hope you expand this a little more. I want to see what happens.

Oooh I love a good Khan story. (And I don't mean STID.) Waiting with bated breath to see what happens next.

Oh, that was nice. I knew almost from the moment the description was given who it was. I recongized Khan's faithful second-in-command, but I just love the reverance and backstory delivered here in so few short lines. Well done. Long Live Khan.
Author's Response: thank you. Trouble is with me I never like to reveal too much or anything until it's absolutely necessary. Doesn't always work though :)

Uh, oh. I'm sure this isn't the end of their power, not by a long shot. Eager to read more!
Author's Response: I'll do what I can Jes :)
