Well good to see Beverly briefly and it clear Riker isn’t 21st Century salve, I’m sure the General has got that room bug and listening in. I surprised that Riker is so well aware of Television given how ignorant the Voyager crew were during they trip back to the 21st Century.
I’m was surprise that historical Medical equipment was only a extra course for Starfleet medical doctors in 24th Century, good thing that Beverly had the sense to take it.
Again another nice well written chapter.

Nice to see how Will and Deanna react to modern 21st Century medical technology, yes it must seems barbaric to someone use to 24th Century Technology. You do a good role as always with Riker and Deanna relationship.

I guess the most interesting thing about this is sticking them in our normal timeline. In the prime timeline, Earth should be half-wasted from nuclear war right about now. Not sure how Riker knows anything about this timeline, or whether this is just totally an AU where WW3 and the Genetics Wars didn't ever happen, but if the latter is the case, I wonder how that affects the timeline. We already do stuff with genetics that's illegal in the Federation thanks to Khan. I can only imagine the sort of weirdness that would be going on by the 24th century in a reality where Khan never happened.
Author's Response: When I wrote the chapter, WW3 and the Genetics Wars did come to mind, but I decided this would be totally AU. I'm a sucker for AU stories. So, I just stuck them in our time frame, and had a little fun with it. I could see their reactions in my head as I wrote this story.
