Shut up as in, "Shut uuuup"? Wow, this is truly a case of culture shock. I can see why they call themselves the Aphrodii. I think it will be hard for the landing party to stay properly focussed. Focussed, that is, on the job at hand. Uh, I mean the work for which they have been trained. 

Seeing as Riker and Troi have feelings for one another, they will probably have an easier time sticking to business. But the captain may have a bit more of a challenge. And I'm wondering....if this is how they behave in public, what must it be like behind closed doors? Perhaps you might consider adding another chapter...
