Well, that went a lot less painful than in a certain other universe we know. Of course it helps to have somebody with privileged insider information at hand.

Sybok's aims don't seem to differ much however and he could still turn out to be very dangerous for the crew if he manages to 'turn' anyone with his pain trick. Talking about pain, we already know that this Spock has plenty of that, so he better stay away.

Author's Response:

I wanted this version to be less far gone, and less powerful (which would follow) than the one in the prime timeline. But yeah, nuSpock should maintain a safe distance.

Valeris is probably not the first to make these observations about weed. Gardening is a pain.

Interesting developments here Spock reveals to Uhura. Sybok and his relationship to his father remains an enigma and I continue to be interested to find out how this version may differ from the one in the prime universe.

Author's Response:

True, she's no gardener.

As for Sybok, he's a younger man in this iteration (they're all younger, of course)....

Thank you for reading.

Sybok reimagined for the AU? Excellent idea and I like how this one is much more considerate than the one we already know. Not sure how eager the decimated Vulcans will be to try and help him on his quest though. And if they are not, will he take actions as drastic as his mirror image?

Author's Response:

What will he do? Thanks for reading ... more to come!
