This was a really poignant moment, I really enjoyed it! I think often people focus too much on Voyager characters being happy to be "home" again, and don't acknowledge the fact that most (if not all) of them likely had some things about the Galaxy quadrant that they really missed. It's also interesting from a perspective of Seven-- who once felt like an outside among the Voyager crew-- missing her "family."

Awww, that was a sweet little ficlet about Seven in general but as much as it was Jenkins who was having difficulty adjusting to being home, we could see that Seven too was plagued by doubts, worries and concerns and finding it difficult to adapt. The line about her alcove regeneration cycles being less than optimal was sheer class. Loved it and so very telling.

Great story! Although I don't write Voyager stories (so far), I really enjoyed the series. Seven of Nine was one of my favorite characters--along with the holigraphic doctor.
