Oh, wow. Intense, and really really lovely; I don't know how you could think you overstepped any bounds with it! Your use of song lyrics as something to give tell to the dark, dysfunctional atmosphere is just... gorgeous. Seriously, I love it. Thank you so much!
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it. Your "Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace" was probably one of the most surprising and tragically beautiful things I read this year. Thank you for sharing that with this community, thanks for everything you do around here, and Merry Christmas. :)

Good Job here TS.
Does feel very much like the Mirror Scotty showing a rare clink in his armour, I'm surprise that the season got the mirror Scotty had found enough humanity to only maimed the attacker.
Though I dread to think what the Mirror holiday celebrates.

Ai yi yi haunting and gripping. This story works so well with the visions that a few of us have of the Mirror Universe, that it is a dark and desolate wasteland of a universe, and there are very few people there with any sort of a conscience to speak of. And even then, it's only flickerings and shadows, the slightest and barest hint of anything even resembling compassion.
Haunting and very well done.
