That was a great little holiday tale. And I can definitely see where Jessiy would be miffed having her crew turned into gingerbread cookies and miniaturized to populate a gingerbread village.
In a way, I feel sorry for Q junior - he is only trying to help them enjoy their holiday, after all. I also liked the fact that he was stumped by the meaning of it all - didn't understand the trees, stockings, painsticks and smelly targ guts (the latter I can only imagine belong to some strange Klingon holiday). He might consider himself a God, but certainly is not omnipotent.
The snowmen coming to life and pelting the humans with tiny snowballs was another great image - and another tradition I am sure Q could not quite grasp.
This was a fun, feel good romp, and a nice look into some downtime in Trek - what with all the space battles going on, this is a side of the characters we rarely get to see.

Oh, you puny mortals! You don't appreciate the grandness of my gestures! I am awesome! Look what I have wrought upon you!
Give me back my fingers ....
Oh yeah, I can totally see this. Now I wanna see who wins the snowball fight.
Author's Response: Have you ever seen a snowman lose a snowball fight?
