Well Nioblum, that is more interest take for the AOS Enterprise Crew.
I think you’ve got the three main lead voices to feel right and act, as you would expect.
I do feel it part of Kirk/Spock make up to lead from the front and place themselves at risk for the other.
It’s while McCoy is a key part of the Trio, because his no-nonsense attitude as he show on the surface, is what keeps them balanced.
I do like the way you deal with the Spock apologise and McCoy subsequent re-balance of his relationship with Spock, was a good point to have him make that Kirk worries about the crew welfare more than his own.
Good little story and yes it is a fertile little ground for more stories.

I love how you give them far more depth than they ever had on screen. Spock in particular I hear as Quinto. McCoy, I still hear as Kelley. Kirk's a tossup for me. Well done.
Author's Response: Thanks! I think my exposure to lots of Kelley-McCoy makes it easier to blend him and Urban together, where-as the actual presence of Nimoy-McCoy in that continuity means keeping them somewhat separate's important, so I'm glad that's working out.
