Oh, deeply dark. I liked this. It felt very threatening and clearly the voice of a vengeful figure. The cold hard math of the opening was a thrilling little statement, neat tie to the title and served exactly up the chilling cold nature of the short piece. Very effective.

Don't know anything about this universe but this read as raw and visceral in spite of that. The universal hurt we all experience at losing someone close to us, and at the irrational but oh-so predictable need for revenge, hoping that in some small way it will serve to diminish the hurt, even a little.
Chilling and haunting, as well as disturbing, but so true to human nature.

This is absolutely gorgeous. Jerix threw me big style in the story, I thought he was going to be doing something undercover, but then it turned out he was just shattered by what happened at Jupiter Station. And man, you do such a gorgeous job here getting into the heart of why.

Cold maths and the harsh truth of mathematics not sure the whole story, as I'm not up to speed with this verse but in 190 words you paint a picture and set the scene well.

Wow that is...chilling. And pretty darn similar to SLWalker's Scotty in "Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace," as far as knowing how to fix things and destroy them, and having that desire to do both. I fear this might be another universe I need to go wade into to get a better understanding for what happened to reach this point, but I can definitely see the hatred dripping from every word in this short piece. Chilling, for sure.
