This was not the best story to read right before bed. But since you were obviously going for "creepy," the good news is, you succeeded! I definitely got goosebumps from this one. (I'm leaving the hall light on tonight in case I feel icy fingers on my spine ... *shudder*)

The story definately had the 'EVENT HORIZON' feel to it, that's for sure.
The story is actually pretty cool. I was suspicous of Holloway because of the evasive nature he showed eraly on. But since I didn't know this was a ghost story, and and as the events began to amp up, I wasn't really sure what the hell was going on so it made me want to read more.
Are these characters from another 'series' and they made a special "Halloween" episode? If so what series are they from?
Anyway, I thought you did a great job with the pacing in this story. It starts off small, feels like one of those character episodes, and then things pick up from there. If I were Nog I'd be asking for a transfer; NOW!!
