short little sweet fantasy tale, thou while Kirk AU actions seem roughly right, Spock risking Amanda to resue Kirk did seem a little non-logically and McCoy walking to the bridge while keeping the children waiting rather than using another channel didn't seem like the good doctor.

However the prose was readable and no obvious errors so it was easy to read.
