Okay, that may have been the cheesiest, most adorable Christmas present ever, and it's a terrific followup to the prior story of that first date. And I love how much Hank goes on his gut instincts trying to find that perfect gift, the one that'll make her happy, make her laugh. Now I'm wondering what she got him! But I don't know how she could possibly top a jeweled Targ heart.
Oh, my God, Hank. If not for Bethany, I'd marry that man in a New York minute.

*beams* I'm glad you liked the story. The jewel Targ heart was a random suggestion from Hank in the middle of writing this story, as I had no real idea how he was going to get the perfect gift for Bethany. But he came up with something that fit him to a T as a gift giver and would serve as a reminder of something special. I don't know if it got worn much as an accesory (Bethany says probably only on Anniversary dates) but it was a good bit. What she got Hank is a mystery even to me, but whatever it was, he was just happy to have her. Thanks for the review :)
