OMG!  That was all kinds of sweet, and cute, and heartwarming.  I wonder if later in life the two will realize that they met once before.

As a student of languages, I really liked how you had the boy deal with English - rewinding the question in his mind and pausing to formulate the proper response with correct word order and vocabulary.  Very believable, and a situation I can personally relate to more than once. ;-)

All in all, a very enjoyable tale that made me grin. :D
