Author's Response: Scotty actually made it out of the Churchill unscathed physically. For once, everyone was rightfully worried about his mental state, given what he'd survived and witnessed. And yes, Bob April not only convicted him in ONOW, then he went and saved his life, and then he gave him the best chance of his life to achieve his dream. Thanks so much!

So it is that Scotty gets brought to the Enterprise. Seems April is his saviour not just in the immediate of rescuing him from the Chruchill but also his later lifeline and purpose of Enterprise. Funny too that yet again we see a part of life working full circle for Scotty. April. Enterprise. And of course at this point medical examinations.
