It's been a while since I've read a Kestrel story but it took only a couple of seconds to remember these colorful characters. None more so, of course, than the master of the Kestrel himself.
This guy lives for this kind of stuff. Highly illegal, dangerous and against all regs in the book? Check, check and double check. Better bet your butt McGregor is going to be involved and that hilarity will ensue.

McGregor, Molly & co, might be Miranda Fave characters but you've done a good job of catching their characters.
did love McGregor set up the Ensign to be a screamer.
