Well I was wondering if we would get to meet any of the canon characters. And luckily so we do. Things can only get even more interesting from here. But I also imagine they will only get darker too given the treatment for Meru and the involvement of Dukat in proceedings. Interesting stuff. Want to read more from a chapter mind and get to know more about life on the station and in the labour camps - but I suppose keep the reader wanting more.

Phew. I thought she was due to be the source of lots of unpleasant tortures. Mind, labour camps on Terok Nor hardly seems a better fate for them but perhaps there there might be some form of hope.

You keep up the sinister threat and menace of the Cardassians here, effectively building up the closetted world by which the Bajorians would have seen of the Cardassians. Alas they only largely ever got to see the truly horrible and nasty ones who worked as part of the Occupation. It continues to build up the world view for Naprem and maybe steer her towards a choice of joining the Resistance.

What an intriguing premise. I've actually got high hopes for this. The idea is rich with potential given the dynamics of the situation of an Occuoied Bajor. The Bajorans and the Cardassians are two of the most rich cultures we've seen in Trek so there's much to exploit but even more to expand on. Particularly so with the Bajorans for as much as we got an insight into them we also saw little of their everyday life. Compund that by living under the heel of the Cardassian boot I'm very excited to see where you go with this.

There's a certain air of the French Resistance here with the prostitute acting as a diversion for the enemy soldiers. Throw in the figure of Shakaar and we make things even more interesting. It will be interesting to see how you play the lines here given so much of what the Resistance do is a thin line and deals within the grey areas. That moral ambiguity with the ferocity of fighting the Cardassians is one that could be mined for explosive story telling and fascinating character stuff. I'll be following.

I'll be following this story as the Bajorans are on of my favourite races, so this should be interesting seeing you adding new light to the occupation. So far it looks promising.
