Ah, Chris is a bit of a romantic at heart all the same. But the discipline makes a lot of sense. Rick will certainly think twice before he pulls a stunt like this ever again. Nice touch that it saved Commodore Stocker's (I recognize the name from canon) hide.

Well, that does not exactly inspire confidence!
But I like the fun date and, of course, the naughty aspect of it. The Trek future often does not seem to allow for people to be spontaneous, secretive or romantic in a naturalistic setting such as a beach. This story allows for that and more.
